Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to support the safe, efficient, and effective operations of our Yard and Workshop. This varied role would suit an experienced Mechanic who is keen to expand their knowledge and develop in their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine service, maintenance, and repairs of our fleet vehicles
  • Conducting vehicle/plant services and inspections, repairing/replacing damaged/worn parts
  • Attend breakdowns across south-central England, diagnosing and repairing faults
  • Maintain the inventory of equipment and machinery
  • Receive and book-in deliveries of equipment/tools
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 diploma in light vehicle repair or equivalent
  • Recent experience of working in a similar mechanic role
  • IT literate with experience of digital data entry
  • Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Full UK driving licence
