About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our lounges and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining high standards across the team
  • Deliver 14 great shifts to ensure every customer leaves happy
  • Support the day-to-day running of the lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback
  • Drive sales, team retention, training, customer service, and maintain high standards
  • Involved in recruitment and HR, paperwork and reporting, and NPS

What We're Looking For
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, cafe, or coffee shop environment
  • Knowledge of best practice in sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport and trust
  • Self-motivator working at pace with limited supervision while adhering to pressure and timescales
