Our hospital offers a unique opportunity for experienced mental health professionals to join a new and developing team in a brand new hospital.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mental Health Ward Manager to lead our Camhs ward team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients, supervising junior staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ward.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the ward, ensuring high-quality patient care and a safe working environment.
- Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance and development opportunities to enhance their skills and career progression.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Mental Health Legislation and Statutory requirements.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and report writing, ensuring a high level of transparency and accountability.
