Futura Design Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Development Engineer to join their team in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading OEM client in the development of electrical systems for their vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics and wiring structures for vehicle systems
  • Support the development of lab cars and other electrical-related artifacts
  • Debug electrical systems, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet busses
  • Collaborate with the packing team to validate routing and produce build-to-print harness drawings
  • Develop and maintain a LabCar framework for expedited development work and testing
  • Support project technical activities to meet customer deadlines and milestones
  • Contribute to the creation of quality, security, and functional safety artifacts
  • Travel to Pune, India as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years' experience in automotive or relevant industry
  • Proven track record in delivering technical objectives to quality and time targets
  • Experience with software version control tools, requirements management, and SCR management
  • Understanding of EV/hybrid powertrain components and architectures
  • Data acquisition and analysis skills
  • Strong presentation, report writing, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of BUS systems used in the automotive environment
  • Good working knowledge of VeSys DESIGN and Siemens CAPITAL software suites
