Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Cyber Security Operations Manager with expertise in ServiceNow to join our team of digital professionals. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a live service for our Cyber Security teams as we embark on a significant transformation of government services.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Cyber Security Operations Manager, you will enhance our Cyber Security Ecosystem by identifying, mitigating, and recovering from security threats across the UK's largest government IT infrastructure. Your efforts will safeguard the data of UK citizens and uphold the integrity of our welfare system.

This position is centered around ServiceNow-based Service Management, focusing on the development and enhancement of the SecurePlace platform utilizing ITIL methodologies.

You will collaborate with Product, Risk, and Compliance teams, fostering effective relationships to align with DWP's overarching Digital Security strategy. Your ability to apply formal methodologies for risk management in an enterprise context will be essential, as will your capacity to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in managing large IT Products and Services within production environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and a solid grasp of security technologies and solutions, particularly in handling complex data.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing intricate processes within a Service Management Framework, such as ITIL.
  • Extensive understanding of Digital Products and Services, particularly in identifying and delivering requirements for platform management processes.
  • Significant experience in cultivating and nurturing effective relationships with diverse senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing risk through established methodologies in an enterprise setting.
