About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Fitter Specialist to join our expanding team at M Group Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support of specialized plant and equipment across the UK, ensuring they are fit for purpose and in line with manufacturer instructions.

This is a site-based role, requiring travel throughout the UK, including weekends, to support and deliver contracts within our overhead line business.

About the Team

The Specialist Plant & Equipment team is responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and support of all specialist plant and equipment across the UK.

About the Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive safety culture and encourage behaviors to prevent harm to people, including participating in daily risk assessments, audits, and safety briefings.
  • Complete all preventative and essential maintenance within the plant department to the highest standards, ensuring safety is the top priority.
  • Ensure load testing and 3rd party inspections are completed as part of the maintenance procedure.
  • Contribute towards plant innovation and improvements to reduce downtime.
  • Support operational projects across the UK by ensuring all deadlines are met and maintenance is carried out in agreement with the NDC and project management teams.
About You
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of overhead line specialist equipment desirable.
  • Full driving license.
  • Willingness to work and travel throughout the UK on a weekly basis, including weekends as required.
