Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to consultants, nurses, and other clinicians on the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Develop and implement pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes and reduce medication errors.
  • Work closely with our clinical teams to identify and address medication-related issues.
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with our dispensary team to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, as well as current best practices in clinical pharmacy.
