As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with the Deputy General Manager and the clinical team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, as well as supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health and Social Care. You will also need to have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to giving each resident individualized care and support. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, and many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Care, or nursing roles.
