Job Description

ABG Commercial Realty LLC is seeking a highly skilled Digital and Electronic Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating new electronic PCBs and assemblies for products sold worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and evaluate components and assemblies from concept to mass production for new models.
  • Design Review and Evaluation: Critically evaluate design proposals and participate in peer review meetings. Study EMC & Signal Integrity issues, identify, and eliminate design problems before sample stages.
  • Project Support: Support the Project Leader to ensure cost requirements for electrical/electronic aspects of developments are available when required.
  • Project Planning: Support the Project Leader to create and maintain project plans/schedules for electrical/electronic aspects of developments.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Degree-level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering plus 3 years relevant industry experience, or at least 5 years relevant industry experience in a similar role.
  • Electrical and EMC Testing: Electrical and EMC testing in a design environment and of fault finding to component level.
  • Design Tools and Simulation: PCB design tools (Zuken CR5000 preferably) and Circuit simulation tools.
  • Analogue/Digital Design: Analogue/Digital Design experience.
  • Design for Manufacturing: Experience in designing electronics circuits and taking the design from concept to mass production.
  • Design for EMC/ESD: Design for EMC/ESD and noisy environments.
  • Soldering and De-soldering: Soldering and de-soldering (including surface mount components).
  • Electrical and Electronic Circuit Theory: Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic circuit theory.
  • Test Equipment and Tools: Hands-on experience of using electrical and electronic test equipment and tools.
