As a Graduate Project Leader, you'll be accountable for technical work, whether managing groups or projects. You'll be confident in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering and will be exposed to all aspects of the business. You'll play a key role in projects, responsible for research, design, planning, system testing, implementation, and project control.

Engineering Disciplines

We have various engineering disciplines, including mechanical engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, and software engineering.

Mechanical engineers design and manufacture bespoke robotic automation systems, using Solidworks to design and simulate solutions. They work on various mechanical components, such as bearings, transmission components, vibration isolation, fixings, and pneumatic systems.

Electrical/electronic engineers design and develop microcontroller PCBs for various applications, including data acquisition, motion control, and process control. They work with commercially available sensors, controllers, transducers, drives, and peripherals.

Software engineers develop software using C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). They work on user interfaces and are expected to be familiar with current technologies and advancements.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have a good engineering degree in a relevant discipline. You should have an intrinsic interest and intuitive understanding of engineering, underpinned by academic theoretical knowledge. You should also have a good A-Level in maths and preferably another science A-Level.

We're looking for individuals who can quickly assimilate and comprehend knowledge in unfamiliar topics, often in areas unrelated to previous study. If you have personal projects or experience with Arduino or other DIY projects, please include them with your application.
