Job Summary:
SPG Resourcing is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead projects from inception to deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Build and lead high-performing project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure maximum performance
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects
- Drive decision-making, ensuring timely and recorded decisions to ensure progress and accountability
- Adhere to organizational delivery frameworks, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Develop and implement processes and practices to support the adoption and optimization of Agile ways of working
Requirements:
- Five or more years of project management experience, preferably in an IT environment
- Professional certification in project management, such as PRINCE2 or Agile Project Management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Leadership skills, with the ability to drive engagement, growth, and development of the project team
- Coaching skills, with the ability to help and encourage individuals and teams to improve performance
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish relationships, analyze perspectives, and manage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
