We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Client Services Team within Retirement Solutions at Phoenix Group Holdings. This is a brand new role to join our growing team.

The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with our Senior Data Analysts, Transition Managers, and Reinsurance team to support various aspects of the overall BPA and Reinsurance implementation journeys. You will assist in analysing scheme benefit specifications and large pension datasets, providing support to the BPA implementation process, and validating scheme data during the implementation and data cleanse processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in analysing scheme benefit specifications and large pension datasets to identify system development requirements.
- Provide support to the BPA implementation process by assisting in the data and payroll reconciliation process.
- Validate scheme data during the implementation and data cleanse processes to ensure all data sets are complete, accurate, and fully in line with the respective benefit specifications.
- Update models to align with the benefit specifications to allow bulk validations and payroll projections to be run.
- Support the Transition Manager at Trustee and Scheme Administrator meetings with your knowledge of the scheme data.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, Phoenix's outsourced administrator, scheme administrators, and Trustees.
- Assist in the production of detailed and accurate management information to support the oversight of BPA and Reinsurance performance.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders, and a keen eye for detail. You will have good data analysis skills, experience of working with large datasets, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Bulk Annuities and/or Defined Benefit pensions would be ideal, along with previous experience working with Defined Benefit pension data and/or reinsurance data.
