Job Title:

Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary:

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students with their learning and development, particularly those with additional educational needs.

The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assist with lesson preparation, and provide one-on-one or small group support to students.

A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role or working with children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to student support.
  • Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake training.
  • DBS on the update service or willing to pay £45 for one.
  • Driving licence.
