Key Responsibilities- Security Protocols and Governance: Design, implement, review, and maintain robust security protocols and policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
- Security Ambassador: Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization, promoting best practices and ensuring that all stakeholders understand the importance of cybersecurity.
- Incident Response and Management: Oversee daily security operations, ensuring prompt resolution of security incidents and supporting various security projects to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Security Service Delivery: Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of security services to the business, ensuring that all security requirements are met and exceeded.
- Threat Monitoring and Vulnerability Management: Monitor our networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions, investigating any security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Security Testing and Compliance: Collaborate with the security team to perform regular security tests and vulnerability assessments, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Security Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to security best practices, providing training and support to ensure that all stakeholders are equipped to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities.
- Certifications: Microsoft, Azure, and MS public and private cloud certifications.
- Security Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols, with the ability to propose relevant security responses to changing business and project risks.
- Work Experience: At least 3 years of work experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering security services and solutions.
