Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Academic Head of Year at our esteemed institution. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and pastoral futures of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Performance Monitoring: You will be responsible for monitoring the academic performance of students in your designated year group, identifying areas of improvement, and providing targeted support to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Leadership and Guidance: As a leader, you will provide guidance and support to students, staff, and parents, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Strategic Planning: You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes, attendance, and behavior.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure seamless collaboration and support for our students.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: You will have a proven track record of leadership experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on academic achievement and student well-being.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Strategic Thinking: You will possess strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans to improve student outcomes.
