About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Assurance Specialist to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our R&A team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations meet the highest environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular environmental assurance audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for implementation.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance environmental performance.
  • Work closely with the wider R&A team to support operations and engage with external stakeholders, regulators, and customers.
Requirements
  • Environmental degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Qualified in an Environmental Certificate IEMA, with proven previous experience in an operational setting.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders on site and communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to internal and external customers.
