Your Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing, maintaining, and evaluating inventory levels
  • Overseeing general warehouse stock and tailored stock for key clients
  • Fostering and sustaining supplier relationships
  • Coordinating supplier pickups and monitoring supplier deliveries
  • Collaborating with internal teams to predict procurement requirements
  • Evaluating supplier performance
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction
  • Analyzing sales data to set and routinely assess minimum and maximum stock levels
  • Preparing reports for company executives
  • Managing purchasing software (Unleashed)
  • Negotiating special pricing for bulk orders
  • Matching supplier invoices to bills in Xero
  • Ensuring continuity of Sales Order Processing during absences
  • Working effectively as part of the HQ team
  • Collaborating closely with Warehouse, Sales, and Company Executives
  • Performing other duties related to the role

Qualifications & Experience

  • Procurement courses and qualifications (such as CIPS) are welcomed but not mandatory
  • Proven experience in contributing strategically to company growth
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Experience in developing and nurturing external relationships
  • Solid understanding of purchasing processes
  • Experience in data analysis and trending
  • Familiarity with purchasing systems within a business context
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Logistics experience is a plus
