Liberty Gas Group is thrilled to announce an opening for a Heating Systems Technician to become a vital part of our team. This position is a full-time, permanent role, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Compensation: The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of £40,000 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £45,000 through on-target earnings. Additional benefits include an on-call earning potential, a company vehicle, and a fuel card, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on domestic heating systems.
  • Complete tasks in accordance with specifications and gas safety regulations.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs.
  • Adhere to operational procedures, safe working practices, and health and safety regulations.
  • Report all incidents, near misses, or potential hazards.
  • Carry out additional maintenance tasks as required.
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of clients.
Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Recognized formal training with relevant craft qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • ACS qualifications including CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, and CENWAT (unvented qualifications are a plus).
  • A solid understanding of gas legislation.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to work to best practices.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, demonstrating excellent service and flexibility.
