Position Overview

Anderson Knight is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our esteemed client. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to upholding superior quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Executing regular quality assessments and inspections to ensure adherence to industry benchmarks and regulations.
  • Working collaboratively with various teams to identify and rectify quality-related challenges.
  • Preparing and delivering comprehensive reports on quality performance indicators.
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the quality management framework.
  • Providing training and guidance to personnel on quality assurance methodologies.
  • Overseeing drug and alcohol testing protocols, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with external testing agencies to ensure proper handling of invoices and results.
  • Engaging closely with all fleet, ship, and shore staff to ensure effective application and continuous enhancement of the Integrated Management System.
  • Collecting and organizing data to meet customer and organizational reporting needs.
  • Coordinating office meeting agendas, managing attendance, contributing to presentations, and documenting and archiving meeting minutes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance capacity.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience in the shipping or maritime sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications in quality management or a related discipline are beneficial.
  • Proficient administrative skills, particularly in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
