At Ultimate Activity Camps, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Manager to lead our holiday childcare programs. As a Camp Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our multi-activity programs, while maintaining the welfare and safety of the children on camp.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and activities.
- Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver engaging and fun activities.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
- Lead Camp Induction Day for staff and work with the Early Years Leader to ensure Ofsted requirements are met.
- Liaise with Head Office, parents, and host school representatives to ensure smooth camp operations.
- Manage administrative duties, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration, and staff rotas.
- Collaborate with specialist program staff to ensure seamless camp operations.
- Qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare, teaching, or coaching, with significant experience working with children.
- Natural leadership skills and management experience, ideally in the holiday camp, childcare, teaching, or coaching sectors.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to talk to parents and host school staff.
- Good working knowledge of camp activities and ability to take short-term cover of groups.
- Good decision-making skills and ability to adapt to situations.
