About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to join our client's team. As a key member of the data infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable data warehouse system that meets the business's specific data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a data lake and data warehouse architecture using the Microsoft Azure tech stack.
  • Build and manage a small team of integration and development specialists.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system performance.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business intelligence tools and dashboards.
  • Design and implement data models within a data warehouse platform.
  • Develop and maintain database administration and software development skills.
  • Implement a data lake or data lake house model using Databricks.
  • Work with large and frequently changing data sets.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboarding capabilities using Power BI.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouse systems.
  • Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
