Position Overview

Carbon60 is collaborating with a renowned international airline seeking a highly skilled Principal Solution Architect to spearhead the transition of their on-premises data center and facilitate the migration of over 1,300 applications to the cloud (AWS).

The airline operates a complex ecosystem of applications currently housed on-premises, and they aim to transfer all these applications to AWS, ensuring optimal performance, robust security, and comprehensive assurance throughout the process.

This role is a senior-level position, necessitating a seasoned expert with significant experience (years of relevant experience) in leading and mentoring multiple architects. The ideal candidate will possess a background at the Principal, Chief, Head of, or Director level.

Contract Details

  • Contract Duration: Initially 6 months, with a strong possibility of extensions.
  • Compensation: Starting from £1,250 per day, based on experience.
  • Work Location: West London.
  • Work Flexibility: Preferably 2 days per week on-site (subject to negotiation).

Important Note: This position is not intended for a data architect or senior solution architect. Candidates must provide several proven examples of experience with enterprise-level organizations and leading the migration of on-premises data centers to AWS.
