We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our Materials Laboratory at a recognised innovator in the field of manufacturing and engineering. The role involves mixing, molding, and testing rubber and other polymer-based materials to support both team and customer needs. Key Responsibilities:

* Mixing or Molding rubber and polymer materials.

* Operating rheology instruments and conducting physical property testing.

* Maintaining laboratory equipment, managing workflows, and handling customer liaison.

* Ensuring quality standards, managing lab stocks, and complying with safety regulations.

Personal Specifications:

* Methodical with strong attention to detail.

* Inquisitive and proactive, with good time management skills.

* Able to handle chemicals safely and work well in a small team.

Desirable:

* Degree in STEM (preferably chemistry) or relevant lab experience.

* Familiarity with rubber materials and industry knowledge.

Skills:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Minimum C1 level English proficiency.
