Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part Time Cook to join our team at Victoria House, 31 Normandy Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 6AS. As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals to our residents. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare meals for residents, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage food stock, checking for quality and quantity, and reporting any issues to the Catering Supervisor.
  • Monitor and control portion sizes, ensuring residents receive the correct amount of food.
  • Collect and record data on food production, preparation, and service, as required.
  • Report any accidents, near misses, or damage to the Catering Supervisor.
  • Ensure the kitchen is secure and locked when not in use.

Package Details

This Part Time Cook position is available for 16 hours per week, working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The hourly rate is competitive, and we offer a range of benefits to support your wellbeing and career development.
