We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Skills Bootcamp Trainer / Engineering Instructor. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our Engineering Skills Bootcamps across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training content to participants, ensuring that each learner receives the necessary support to learn the course material.
- Facilitate assessments and provide individual support to learners, ensuring equitable and inclusive delivery.
- Provide feedback and reporting data to support continuous improvement of delivery.
- Comply with all EqualEngineers policies and procedures, particularly those within the remit of the Education & Training Quality Assurance requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with and understanding of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fluid power, quality control, CAD, and automation.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering educational sessions or workshops, particularly in STEM subjects.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex principles at various levels to different audiences.
- Strong understanding and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience working in or with the engineering sector.
- Ability to adapt educational content to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
- Experience administering assessment of skills and related technical knowledge.
