Quality Engineer Position Overview

We invite you to become a part of our dynamic team at Mansell Recruitment Group as a **Quality Engineer**. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the enhancement and upkeep of our operational management system. Your mission will be to foster a robust quality culture throughout the organization by ensuring adherence to various standards and quality programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist all divisions in upholding certifications such as AS9100, ISO 9001, among others.
  • Champion product quality efforts in manufacturing, including root cause analysis and corrective measures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Execute customer-driven quality strategies, including Total Preventative Maintenance.
  • Formulate operational guidelines for streamlined processes.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing workflows, client needs, and product specifications.
  • Create and evaluate Quality Manufacturing Plans and PFMEAs for essential products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • HNC level qualification in a relevant field such as Electronics Engineering.
  • Proven experience in quality roles within manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of regulated standards such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, etc.
  • Expertise in problem-solving methodologies including 8D, CAPA, and 5-Whys.
  • Experience in conducting quality system audits and inspections.
  • Prior involvement in supplier evaluation processes.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary up to £42,000.
  • Standard working hours with potential for flexible scheduling.
