About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at thyssenkrupp Materials UK. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and programming our CNC machines, as well as loading and unloading materials and scanning inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and program CNC machines to produce parts to order
  • Load and unload materials, and scan inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with production and assembly work during busy periods
  • Promote continuous improvement processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Ensure stock is processed in accordance with thyssenkrupp quality and working procedures
  • Handle products with care to prevent damage or health hazards
  • Maintain full conformance with order requirements
  • Package products for assembly or dispatch
  • Conform to Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
  • CNC saw or machine operating experience in the metals industry
  • Able to read drawings and record accurate details
  • Flexibility to help with other tasks
  • Forklift training
