About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting in Basingstoke. As a key member of our Development Team, you will be responsible for contributing to concept studies, leading to planning applications, technical approval submissions, and construction issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, co-professionals, and design teams to deliver development projects across various sectors and clients.
  • Ensure tasks are completed to budget, programme, technical standards, and legal requirements.
  • Develop infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings.
  • Liaise with highway, water, statutory, and local authorities to negotiate technical approvals and statutory agreements.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of highway design, drainage strategy, flood risk assessment, utility design, and planning.
  • Proficiency in software such as Info Drainage, Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or PDS.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Awareness of relevant design codes, technical consents process, adoption, and contract procedures.
