Job Title: Regional Health and Safety Manager

This is a customer-facing role that requires weekly travel across your region, with a need for flexibility. You will advise, guide, coach, support, and train operational managers, supervisors, safety representatives, and employees.

As a collaborative leader and people manager, you will provide guidance, support, and development to your team of Health & Safety advisors and stakeholders. Problem-solving will be natural to you, helping drive pragmatic and practical infield Health & Safety solutions.

You will lead on Health & Safety reporting and incident investigation for the region, requiring strong data analysis and presentation skills. Additionally, as a strong communicator, the ability to drive engagement will be key as you will lead the North Regional Health, Safety & Wellbeing forum, developing our safety and wellbeing representative network and aligning yourself with the Operational Teams.

We are looking for a candidate with a Nebosh Diploma/NVQ level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health and a Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). SUEZ recycling and recovery UK is a forward-thinking company recognised as one of the top places in the UK to work.
