Position Overview:

We are in search of a proficient Electrical and/or Mechanical Support Specialist to become a vital part of our Facilities Management team. This position necessitates a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with duties encompassing helpdesk assistance, oversight of scheduling operations, and upholding the highest quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and rectify technical issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Record and monitor incidents and solutions within the helpdesk platform.
  • Evaluate current and upcoming maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Guarantee timely execution of all scheduled tasks while adhering to quality standards.

  • Perform regular assessments and audits of electrical and mechanical systems to confirm adherence to safety and quality regulations.
  • Formulate and apply quality control protocols to enhance service delivery.
  • Offer insights and suggestions for ongoing improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements.
  • Deliver technical training and support to junior personnel and team members.
  • Maintain precise records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Produce reports detailing system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.
  • Collaborate with external certification entities to secure and uphold relevant certifications or accreditations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems support within a facilities management context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in utilizing helpdesk and scheduling software.
  • Dedication to quality and continuous enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM).
  • Experience with safety and compliance regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
