About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Probe UK. As a key member of our purchasing and logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues with orders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries, providing valuable insights for future procurement decisions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders as necessary, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams as needed, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the supply chain.
  • Assist with managing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying shipment contents and ensuring accuracy of order receipts.
  • Communicate with freight companies and couriers to manage shipping schedules, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics.
  • Support the warehouse team with inventory management and reconciliation tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Experience in purchasing and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Word, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes, with ability to analyze and improve processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
