We are seeking an experienced Engineering Insurance Underwriter to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Head Office Underwriting Department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our engineering insurance strategy and helping us achieve our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement underwriting strategies for our engineering insurance offering, ensuring effective risk management and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with our Propositions department and other stakeholders to set growth targets and define our risk appetite.
- Translate underwriting appetite into workable rules, processes, and communications for our agents and underwriters.
- Review and provide expert judgment on risk rates to ensure informed decision-making.
- Analyse management information to identify opportunities for improving our underwriting strategy and meet current and new business requirements.
We are looking for a professional with a wealth of underwriting or broker experience in engineering breakdown insurance. You will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain impactful working relationships.
