Are you looking for a dynamic role in the finance sector? Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is on the lookout for a Financial Operations Assistant to enhance their finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough self-billing and invoicing assessments to guarantee accurate sales charges and payments.
  • Oversee product analysis and engineering value to optimize value propositions, minimize costs, and boost overall performance.
  • Manage sales performance metrics effectively.
  • Handle manual invoicing processes and supplier reimbursements.
  • Address overdue accounts with diligence.
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to develop projected budgets, cash flow analyses, and profit & loss statements.
  • Execute detailed variance analysis of financial data against established budgets, forecasts, and estimates.
  • Ensure timely and precise submission of reporting requirements, utilizing tools such as Magnitude and Excel.
  • Reconcile customer self-billing records accurately.
  • Perform month-end closing accruals to document sales and safeguard the organization.
  • Assist in both internal and external audit processes.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accounting professional (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) with a solid understanding of inventory accounting and standard cost management. Proficiency in Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot tables, is essential.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a structured work schedule. Enjoy a supportive office environment with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
