Founded in the 1970s, Listgrove Ltd is a prominent player in the production of advanced polyurethane elastomer components. The company specializes in delivering high-performance polyurethane cast elastomer systems tailored for a wide range of applications across diverse industries.

Role Overview:

The Principal Technical Development Manager will oversee the innovation of company products, offering technical assistance to the sales team and clients, while addressing any technical challenges that may arise. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the technological advancements of the company and fostering business growth, while managing a multidisciplinary team of 7 or more professionals in R&D, Quality Assurance, and Project Management. This role is poised for potential succession to the Chief Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support the technical and quality assurance teams in developing resources aligned with business strategies and operational needs.
  • Monitor and assess product development projects, providing updates to key stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Assist the sales team with technical expertise during client visits.
  • Lead efforts to resolve technical issues for clients, ensuring that the right resources are allocated to projects.
  • Ensure adherence to company certifications, policies, and other regulatory requirements as mandated by clients or governing bodies.
  • Collaborate with operations to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Oversee budgets and initiatives aimed at cost reduction.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a chemical setting with a specialization in Polyurethane Elastomers.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, focusing on continuous improvement and change management.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in establishing and executing technical strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable in client-facing scenarios.
