Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our team at Reed, a leading recruitment agency in the insurance industry. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for administering a range of claims, including household, domestic, motor, third-party recoveries, subsidence, public and employer liability, personal injury, and commercial insurances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Validate claims against policy coverage and liaise with insurers, loss adjustors, and uninsured loss recovery companies.
- Manage claims files, ensuring accurate recording using IT software and producing meaningful reports for analysis.
- Process claims efficiently and in accordance with policy conditions, consulting with senior management or legal representation as necessary.
- Comply with FCA regulation and company procedures, handling complaints in line with regulatory requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle all queries professionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in claims handling.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
