Position: Business Continuity Analyst (DORA Compliance) - Financial Sector
A prominent Financial Services organization is seeking a proficient Business Continuity Analyst with extensive knowledge of the DORA regulation and its implications for Incident Reporting. The key objective of this role is to ensure alignment of IT governance frameworks with the resilience principles outlined in DORA, thereby reducing the likelihood of IT disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating IT Business Continuity strategies that adhere to DORA compliance requirements.
- Regularly establishing and evaluating effective IT business continuity plans.
- Executing Business Continuity policies and protocols to satisfy DORA regulatory expectations.
- Collaborating with software development teams to incorporate essential IT Business Continuity specifications.
- Assessing technical standards and modifying requirements as necessary.
- Engaging with internal compliance units to keep them updated on pertinent policies and practices.
- Revising reporting formats to comply with DORA regulatory guidelines.
- Documenting actions taken before and during disruption events following response initiation for regulatory scrutiny.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to thoroughly test and document Business Continuity plans.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance initiatives or DORA/operational resilience projects within the Financial Services industry.
- Strong understanding of how regulations influence Incident Reporting.
- Proven track record in establishing business continuity processes and controls.
- Familiarity with Operational Resilience regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
- Expertise in ITIL Processes and ServiceNow is preferred.
