We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at WR Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and processes in the waste-water/pumps sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement product and process concepts, including proto-typing and testing.
- Conduct research to identify new product opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for products in 2D and 3D.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure project timelines are met.
- Present design ideas and proposals to stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing specifications and processes.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in product development and engineering.
- Strong background in product design and engineering.
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and database systems.
- Experience in the pumped drainage industry or related service industry.
- Competitive salary range £32,000-£37,000 depending on experience.
- Up to 23 days holiday and Bank holidays.
