Job Summary

Adv technical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Product Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products, from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety testing and assessments on a wide range of products, including household appliances, power tools, and small and medium-sized machines.
  • Work closely with our buying teams to assess product performance, quality of build, and safety to relevant European standards.
  • Develop and maintain product technical files and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and propose improvements.
  • Investigate and report on technical problems and issues, including product recalls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in safety testing and product assurance, with a strong understanding of European standards and regulations.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a HNC/D or higher in Engineering.
