Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Placement Student - Applied Mechanics Engineer to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Daventry. As a Placement Student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assessing the durability of our components, systems, and products, and contribute to the development of new test methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing the durability of our components, systems, and products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Developing and implementing new test methods and techniques to evaluate the performance of our products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments in mechanical engineering and test methods.
