Freight Forwarder Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Freight Forwarder to join our team at WR Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods within the UK, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to resolve any issues or queries related to shipments.
- Arrange for the collection and delivery of goods, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and tracing information.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as generating and distributing documentation, spreadsheets, and forms.
- Assist with billing and invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in air or sea freight, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
