About the Role:
Modern Networks Ltd is seeking a skilled Security Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cyber security solutions for our enterprise, mid-size, and small business customers.
Key Responsibilities:
\t* Engage with customers to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions
\t* Collaborate with our CISO to develop and implement security strategies
\t* Conduct security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation
\t* Develop and deliver security awareness training to customers and internal stakeholders
\t* Participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota as an escalation point
\t* Conduct site visits to our UK customer base and participate in bi-monthly visits to our Hitchin offices
Requirements:
\t* Recognised cyber security qualification (CompTIA, Microsoft, CISCO, ISC2 etc)
\t* Knowledge of the UK Cyber Essentials certification scheme
\t* Strong understanding of cyber security threats, remediation, and best practices
\t* Experience with monitoring systems and an understanding of monitoring best practices
\t* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
\t* Commitment to continuous professional development
