This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team engaged in pioneering water management initiatives across various AMP cycles. As a member of our local team, you will receive both challenges and support from industry experts within the Stantec community. We are actively promoting our Storm Overflows Academy to enhance staff development while fostering collaboration across diverse communities within our organization to meet the ambitious objectives related to stormwater management.
You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising 110 professionals from Stantec, spanning 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, alongside our clients and consultant/contractor partners, to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to engage with an innovative group of engineers, contributing to a specialized modelling framework while working on industry-leading projects.

Candidate Profile
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a preference for membership in a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIWEM. Successful applicants will exhibit technical expertise across a broad spectrum of urban drainage modelling tasks and demonstrate proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and other pertinent modelling and GIS software.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with bids and preparing cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role entails participation in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of urban drainage projects, ensuring excellence in delivery, adherence to technical governance, and the application of best practices.
Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you will be involved in report writing, creating and delivering presentations (both internal and external), and establishing industry contacts.
The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into a team environment, collaborating closely with other modelling professionals in urban drainage while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
