Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations/Works Manager with a background in Engineering to work for one of our clients, a Precision Engineering company based in the North of England.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and HSE regulations.
- Manage factory scheduling, OTDIF, and MPS compliance to optimize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure excellent communication and customer service.
- Implement a systematic approach to equipment preventative maintenance and yield efficiency.
- Manage time-critical, multiple events in a positive manner and work well under pressure.
- Minimum of 10 years management experience in Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, or Service and Repair industry.
- Strong technical machining and engineering background.
- Ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level within an engineering discipline.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
A competitive salary between £45k and £55k depending on experience, a Day shift schedule with flexibility, and the opportunity to work for a reputable Precision Engineering company.
