Conduco Resourcing is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Devon, where you'll have the opportunity to work with a fantastic growing and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer complaint resolution and root cause analysis, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Analyze quality data and ensure compliance with EQMS policies, driving process improvements and reducing defects.
  • Apply 8D, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods to solve technical and process issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance Quality Management Systems, focusing on new product launches and process improvements.
  • Lead internal audits and prepare documentation to meet customer requirements, ensuring seamless compliance.
  • Analyze quality metrics and recommend improvements to close performance gaps, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Use statistical data to drive product and process improvements, ensuring data-driven decision making.
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure adherence to quality standards, empowering team members with knowledge and skills.
  • Oversee product development by evaluating customer expectations and conducting reliability analyses, ensuring products meet customer needs.
  • Develop and audit process capabilities and control plans to improve product quality, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are applied, and lessons are learned.
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of gauges, tools, and test equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, including value stream mapping and one-piece flow.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methods like 8D, root cause analysis, and FMEA.
  • Skilled in CAD, CAM, MS Office, MiniTab, and similar software, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, including metal cutting, tool design, and injection molding.
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvement teams, with a strong understanding of engineering design and product reliability concepts.
  • Familiarity with ProLaunch and industry quality standards, including ISO9001 and AS9100.
  • Understanding of product specifications, end-user applications, and testing requirements, with a focus on quality and reliability.
