Our client is a well-established and highly regarded body shop with over 20 years of expertise in vehicle body repair. With a workforce of more than 620 skilled professionals, they have earned multiple awards and operate 35 body shops across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Vehicle Spray Painter/Prepper, your primary role will involve the efficient preparation, spraying, and finishing of vehicles, ensuring precise color matching and adherence to both company and customer standards.
Main Duties:
1. Understand the principles of spray painting technology, paint composition, and various application methods. Stay informed about product advancements and participate in relevant training sessions.
2. Conduct vehicle preparation tasks, including masking, sanding, and other essential activities prior to painting.
3. Deliver the required finish and quality in spray painting while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
4. Experience in roll priming is advantageous.
5. Utilize prescribed safety equipment and attire, attend company-organized medical assessments, and follow guidance from health professionals. Promptly report any health or vision issues to your supervisor.
6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that company tools and equipment are well-maintained to reduce fire risks.
7. Comply with all housekeeping, health, and safety regulations relevant to your role and work environment.
