About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Ivytree House. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for children and young people, supporting their educational, personal, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each child and young person are met.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, as required.
