Residential Care Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team at CareTech UK. As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to overcome past and present difficulties.
  • Assist young people in achieving their goals and maximizing their potential.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports for planning meetings and reviews.
  • Encourage community engagement and participation in off-site activities.
  • Meet the needs of children and young people, organizing social activities and maintaining the home environment.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license (desirable)
  • No prior experience necessary, but a commitment and passion for working with young people is essential
  • Attendance at a 2-week training program required
