We are seeking an experienced Algorithmic Trader to join our team. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced automated trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop sophisticated trading strategies and risk management techniques to optimize our trading performance.
  • Analyse market data to identify trends and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to improve our trading algorithms.
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to create innovative solutions for automated trading, leveraging your knowledge of quantitative finance and programming skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cryptocurrency and trading, and apply this knowledge to enhance our trading strategies.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyse large data sets, with proficiency in software development and engineering principles.
  • Strong software development skills, particularly in lower-level languages and Python.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology, with a deep understanding of the underlying mechanics and trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronic trading, specifically within FX/futures.
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative finance and trading strategies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world trading scenarios.
  • Familiarity with our company's trading systems and processes, with a strong understanding of our business goals and objectives.
