Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Employment Advisor in the North Devon locality. This role will involve working closely with a team of therapists to provide a personalized package of employment support and psychological treatment to patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to patients who choose to receive employment support.
  • Collaboratively establish employment goals with patients and produce a personalized action plan to help them achieve these.
  • Work closely with external employment-related services, including Jobcentre Plus, Work & Health Programme providers, employers, trade unions, and employment agencies.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development and shaping of the employment support offer within our service. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of return to work planning and be aware of the needs of individuals with mental health conditions and disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel independently within the North Devon locality.
  • Evidence of further qualification or professional CPD relating to employment, employment law, and/or mental health.
  • Experience of providing vocational/employment support as part of a prior role.
