Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill a leadership position as a Weekend Nursing Supervisor at our skilled nursing facility in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have prior long-term care experience and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on weekend shifts
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Mentor and train less experienced nurses to enhance their clinical and leadership skills
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and make recommendations for improvement
  • Address resident and family concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Collaborate with upper-level management to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
Requirements
  • Valid NYS RN License
  • 2 years of long-term care experience preferred
  • 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
